| 1972 | Increased the capital to 100 million yen, and the corporate name was changed to “Kawashima Co., Ltd.” The new building of the headquarters was constructed. |
| 1978 | Received an award, in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry. |
| 1990 | The fusuma paper manufacturing and wholesaling division became independent as Kawashou Fusumakami Co., Ltd. |
| 1993 | Osaka Branch became independent as Sankei Kawashima Co., Ltd. In addition, the customized product planning and producing section was incorporated as Kawashima Planning Co., Ltd. to pursue traditional craft. |
| 2000 | Kawashou Fusumakami Co., Ltd. published “Gyokuhoushi Volume 15.” This was highly evaluated in this field. |
| 2003 | Released the original brand of fusuma/shoji paper “Shikiroman.” |
| 2007 | Released “Art works,” the healing interior frame that adopted the foreign leaves as a motif while cherishing the taste of Japanese paper and that can fit in with any kind of space. |
